The Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon had athletic looks and stylish body styling. It was a premium edition wagon from Cadillac CTS that was loaded with much powerful V6 mechanical engines provided in the series of CTS, starting with the 3.6-liter V6 engine that delivers 304 horsepower.
Transmission Options
The sole transmission option in the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon is the six-speed automatic transmission; unlike the sedan; the wagon is not provided with a manual gearbox. The engine with 3.6 liters capacity offers quite energetic performance to speed up the CTS Wagon from 0 to 60 mph in just seven seconds and past the quarter-mile within 15.1 seconds only.
Transmissions options in the earlier versions of the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon were automatic transmission, manual-shift modes, and sport automatic transmission.
Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon Performance
It was however slower than others in its class; for example, the Audi A4 Avant 2.0T could achieve a speed of 60 mph in 6.4 seconds and quarter-mile in 14.6 seconds. In sport sedan, hitting a speed of 60mph in 5 seconds was noticed pretty well.
Generously padded and well-bolstered, the seats at front side of the car offered comfort on distant trips and support in aggressive cornering. Both the seat coolers and heaters were powerful enough.
The Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon has an optional performance package called sport suspension. This package includes some attractive features like 19-inch alloy wheels and xenon headlights.
